Banshee wip

I was watching an Adobe art stream on twitch while painting along, it was so much fun!

I did 3 things I've never done before:
1. Paint in grayscale
2. Start with a blob and shape it from there
3. Paint from a far without zooming in too much, like a sketch.

I've learnt so much just the last week watching streams on Twitch and Sycra on Youtube
This is just a WIP, spent appr. 2,5 hours on it

"Imagine walking along the marshes, in the dim light of evening, when a sudden echoed screech sound behind you. You twirl around to locate the sound that's hurting your ears, and you see the profile of a hunched over, old creature turning it's head towards you. The eyes and mouth leak of a black goo running down it's face, skin crackeling as it slowly moves towards you. You're paralyzed, only watching as it struggles over the wet ground, almost crawling in your direction. Closing your eyes, clenching your hands, heart beating like a drum; you hope it's all just a dream. After a long while of yourself terrorizing your own mind, waiting for the inevidable, the screech dies down, eventually disappearing all-together. Heart still beating, you squint, open your eyes, and the creature is no longer in front of you. As you stand there, numb all over from the horror, a scream sounds from the village. A person has died."
